PLATO: Computer Academy (Edmentum)
NEW LOGIN DIRECTIONS
Starting August 26, 2026, students will access their PLATO (Edmentum) courses through my.cherrycreek. The courses in the previous platform are deactivated. Please follow the steps below to work on your courses.
Step 1

Search for the Edmentum tile.
Step 3
Open one of your courses, and begin with the Unit 1 Pretest.
Step 4
Work through the course material in class and at home. You may skip any lessons that are marked "exempt" with a blue star.
Step 5
Let your instructor know when you are ready for the exam, which is called the "End of Semester Test." This must be completed in the classroom with the instructor.
You must pass the exam with a 60% or higher to earn credit for the course on your transcript.
Step 6
Complete all your PLATO courses, and your counselor can take Computer Academy off your schedule so you will have a free period.

Beginning in the fall of 2026, the Computer Academy classes will be as follows:
- Period 1A with Ms. Somers in the library classroom 2002
- Period 2A with Ms. Somers in the library classroom 2002
- Period 5 Independent Study with your counselor
What is PLATO?
Computer Academy (PLATO or Edmentum) is an online, self-paced, credit-recovery program for students who are repeating a class. The program is pass/fail and will not replace a student’s original grade for the course.
Please contact your counselor if you think you need a PLATO course. Each course counts as a semester credit (.5), and students may only take 4 PLATO courses.
Sessions are offered during the school year to Overland students.
