Q3 Ends March 13
Third quarter ends on Friday, March 13. All missing assignments must be turned in by this date. No late work will be accepted after spring break.
Spring Break
Spring Break is March 16–20. Classes resume on Monday, March 23 on an A-Day. This is the beginning of 4th Quarter.

Student Payments Moving to MySchoolBucks
Beginning March 23rd, student fees and purchases will move to MySchoolBucks, the system currently used for meal payments. Families will be able to manage meals and fees in one place.
RevTrak will be unavailable March 13 - 22, 2026.

Sisterhood Presents Women's History Month Events
March 11 & March 25: Toiletries Drive in Advisory for a local women's shelter
March 13: Dress as Rosie the Riveter (headbands for sale)
Students, look for the "stamped" women's history poster each week and be the first to bring it to Ms. Spry in Room 239C to win a prize.

WELLFEST is a free opportunity for CCSD high school students to engage in a variety of wellness activities, connect with resources, and spend time focused on self-care.
Parent Grad Meetings — 3/31 and 4/1
Seniors and a parent/guardian must attend one of the two Parent Grad meetings. Information will be shared about end-of-year expectations, Prom, Graduation, and more. Graduation tickets will be distributed at the end of the meeting.

ACT Cancelled – April 11

Student Payments Moving to MySchoolBucks
Starting March 23, 2026, all student fees and purchases will be managed through MySchoolBucks (MSB) - the same system already used for meal payments. Soon you’ll be able to view and pay meals and fees in one place.
Please note that RevTrak will not be available for payments March 13 – March 22, 2026.

Inside Out Summer Enrichment Program
The Inside Out summer enrichment program offers rising first through eighth grade students a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and effective communication skills. Inside Out offers classes with options for half-day or full-day for one or two weeks during June 2026. Registration is open March 23rd - April 20th.

Points of Pride
Thank you to everyone who participated and promoted our OHS HOSA Community Blood Drive on March 6, 2026. This year our goal was to fill 77 appointment slots and to have 44 units successfully donated. This year we got 47!
A big thank you to librarian Tina Longcor for organizing the fantastic author visit with Nick Brooks! Tina coordinated the visit and helped connect English classes with his book ahead of time so students could fully engage with the experience. Tina also purchased several Spanish editions so Jamie Logan could run a student book club, giving even more students the opportunity to connect with the story. What a great literary experience for our Blazers!
Both Concert Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra earned multiple Superior ratings at ASTA, and Symphony Orchestra qualified for the State competition!
The Overland Robotics Team (the Overland BlazerBots) competed this weekend (March 6-8) at the FIRST Robotics Competition Pikes Peak Regional. They worked super hard and got our robot working really well! Through some crazy twists of fate and the quirks of FRC's tournament rules, we were added as a backup to the 2nd-place alliance, and we then took 2nd place in the entire tournament!!!
Speech and Debate competed at the CHSAA 5A State Tournament this weekend (March 7), and we have a lot to be proud of! This has been a very successful season for us all around, and we only have one competition left. This weekend, we are taking student to the National Qualifying Tournament to decide who will represent Colorado in the National Tournament this summer in Richmond, Virginia.
