Veterans Day Honor Display
On Veterans Day, Overland will host an afternoon event featuring a Walk of Honor and a Dessert Reception to pay tribute to all who have served in the armed forces.
Please come and celebrate our veterans by enjoying photos and other memorabilia that will be on display.

Free Meals for Students
Dear Families,
Did you know your student has access to FREE, healthy meals every day at Overland High School? Thanks to Healthy School Meals for All, all students can enjoy:
- Free Breakfast each morning
- Free Lunch every school day
- Free Power Meals after school, served Monday–Thursday from 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Power Meals are a great way for students to refuel before sports, clubs, or homework — and they’re available to all students at no cost.
We encourage every student to take advantage of these nutritious options!

Winter Sports — Register by 11/14
Clearance to Participate in the following Winter Sports, Cheerleading, POMS, Boys' Basketball, Girls' Basketball, Girls' Swim and Dive, Unified Basketball, Boys'
Wrestling, and Girls' Wrestling Registration must be completed by Friday, November 14, in order to participate on the first day of practice November 17.
The first official day of practice is Monday, November 17.

The ACT test scheduled for December 13 at Overland High School has been canceled. Please check act.org for alternate locations.

Points of Pride
NHS students created thank-you posters to appreciate the Saunders construction crew working on the Cherry Creek Pathways building.
Speech & Debate attended their first varsity tournament at Cherry Creek High School where 12 students competed, and five of them made it to finals.
The Friday before fall break, 16 FCCLA students competed at the Fall District Conference. Students are "thrown into the mix" without much preparation in comparison to when they compete at the State level. But, despite the lack of training, our students always show up and make us proud.
Twelve students competed in their first-ever Speech & Debate competition on Saturday, October 4 at Regis Jesuit High School
As an affiliate instructor with Community College of Aurora's Criminal Justice Department, Mrs. Gifford is right at home teaching to a diverse student body within Cherry Creek School District.
